The journey started with me bringing an Irish soda bread to share with co-workers to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. After receiving high praise, I followed up with scones, which were described as fluffy, light and moist. And, more importantly, excellent! People really enjoyed the flavor combinations and began requesting small orders for their own office meetings and family gatherings. My love of baking was cemented.

"Mom, you're happiest when you are baking" - These words, spoken by my youngest son, were one of the catalysts for Mangan's Irish Treats. I realized what he said was the absolute truth, that I was seldom happier than when I was baking. With years of home baking experience and much experimenting, we strove to create & improve our products to deliver the best possible combinations of flavors and textures.
